An original, one-of-one hand-felted fiber artwork inspired by the small, wild landscapes found close to the earth. Deep earth tones, mossy greens, warm neutrals and touches of ochre recall moss, tangled growth, exposed soil and unexpected flashes of color.

Layered Corriedale sheep roving, merino roving and silk fibers form an organic, dimensional surface shaped by raw edges, varied textures and loose fibers. A natural walnut frame handcrafted by Atlas Wood Company in Pennsylvania from locally sourced hardwood gives the work a warm, finished presentation while allowing its untamed details to remain central.
